at Rose Art Museum  at Brandeis University, through January 21st, I have two pieces on view: a 10’ x 12’ multi-layered piece titled “Strata of Memory” and “Immortal City”.

On February 11th will be the premiere of my commissioned work for Handel’s  Israel in Egypt with the Los Angeles Master Chorale at the Walt Disney Concert Hall: an interesting exploration of the well-known story of the Exodus, through which I will explore the more recent history of the Armenian genocide and the current refugee crisis.

In the month of March I’ll be a resident artist at BricLab in Brooklyn, working with my long-time collaborator, singer Anaïs Tekerian. We are creating a performance inspired by the Armenian legend of Akhtamar which will have its work-in-progress viewings in Brooklyn on March 22nd and March 23rd.

On April 7th, I will perform Manuel de Falla’s Master Peter’s Puppet Show with the Orlando Symphony Orchestra.

My animated short film—tentatively titled Four Acts for Syria—created in partnership with animator Waref Abu Quba for the Robert Bosch Stiftung

GmbH Foundation, will premiere later this year.  Details to follow.
